Description Dear Santa,

please teach me how to take good photos of my paintings. I promise to be good and i'll never ask for anything again.

If anyone - who is not Santa - has any suggestions of how to take better photos, feel free.....

this is perfection and a great photo of your painting!it literally makes me speechless..the combination of the gold,the whites,the piercing blue eyes! its seriously gorgeous!

You need balanced lighting and a good camera. That's about all I know. Neither of which I have.

I have a pretty good camera EOS 400 D, I just don't know how to use it. But I agree with you, lighting is probably the key here

Diffused sunlight has a lot going for it
