Description
It's funny to experience how things come back without really trying - like this way of drawing point-to-point, measuring off proportionsand relative positions as one locates landmarks, like knees and ankles. This makes a lot of triangular and rectangular shapes that make it easy to see the whole and the parts at the same time, as in a blueprint or flat map that one can then bend in space. Loomis explains the flat map; how to manipulate it in space to arrange the pose, determine proportions, adjust perspective, and flesh out the anatomy. It's funny to watch it surface without having thought about it. Not exactly the same as what they say about riding a bicycle, but not to far off for it.
