Genevieve's little backstory of sorts.

I won't go into much detail but here's the jist of it:

She was a simple shuppet who found a family in the middle of a forest like what Shuppets normally do according to the Pokedex:

Pokedex Y entry: It loves vengeful emotions and hangs in rows under the eaves of houses where vengeful people live.

The shuppet hung around until a little girl who lived there took her in, and became part of the family. The girl had a doll, and the two played with it all the time.

Eventually disaster struck. The forest was set a blaze, and as the family escaped or simply weren't there at the time, the shuppet was trapped in the now burning house...

...and from the ashes, she was reborn as the Banette we know now, holding elements of the girls doll, now nothing but ash as well.
As she weakly climbs out of the ash, she sees the cause of the fire in the distance.

Reeeally needed a break from college work

I'm pretty proud of this piece, mostly composition wise. I got lazy with shading the trees, but found a little trick to get a ... subtle, effect, I guess, haha.

I guess this is also a little vent of sorts, I dunno
