Great picture by the way. And, out of curiosity, what are you looking forward to the most?

Thank you! :3
Pretty much everything tbh the eluvians, all the political implications and finally some consequences, THE ANCHOR CAUSING TROUBLE AND ALL THE ANGST, and of course Solas because YEAH I have some questions XD what about you?

Personally I'm curious about how the anchor problem will play out. Will the Inquisitor get control of the anchor again? Will they loose the anchor? Will it kill them? Will the player have a choice in the matter?
Also this seems more like a direct sequel for the main story unlike the other two DLC so maybe the choices in the first game will effect the story of the DLC.
But most of all I hear that there's a possibility to continue the romances through the DLC. MORE DORIAN ROMACING PLEASE!!!!!!! Β

yassssss fingers crossed for A LOT more romance stuff!! From what I heard it can be anything from fluffy and cute to heartbreaking, so ... I'm curious if that means Dorian is going to return to Tevinter, after all. :/
Also, yeah, I feel you. I mean I really enjoyed the other two DLCs but it felt more like any other quest and particularly the events and outcomes of The Descent seemed to be more relevant to a potential DA4 game than the inquisition, really. Which is great because you can speculate and headcanon all kinds of things, but you know. I like it when my actions and decisions have consequences and so far I didn't feel like that was the case throughout the whole of DA:I (with the exception of Here Lies The Abyss maybe). So that's what I'm mostly looking forward to, I think ... CONSEQUENCES. And the anchor and if it's going to kill the inquisitor in the end.

Well, I imagine Bull would at least have some way to tie him up, the inquisitor may need to find more subtle means of persuasion XD
haha yeah, I get that, I do, but for me consequences are just a great way to ensure that I stay emotionally invested? Because it sort of ... gives me the illusion of actually making a difference and actively influencing the story instead of just being dragged along and in the end it doesn't really matter if I do things or how I do them. Sure, sometimes the outcome may not be what I'd have wished for, but then you move on and try to either fix it or make it better next time XD I think it'd be best if they let us use the Keep instead of a savegame because then you could retcon your decisions without having to replay the whole game (I doubt they will for the DLC, but for DA4)
But yesss, cameos! They tie everything together so nicely. I also hope this won't be the last we've heard of Hawke (even if you left them in the Fade, I refuse to believe they're dead)

I get that. That's why I like Walking Dead and other games like that, because everyone gets a different out come and a more unique gaming experience.
I also like how they tie things up to. I look at Dragon Age and think; somewhere in the world Hawke and the Inquisitor are running about , doing their own thing, not knowing that they'll be heroes one day. Brings a smile to my face.
Also, even though I would like to see Hawke again, I'm sort of convinced Hawke is dead in the Fade. It is the Fade after all. And they were facing a giant demon that looked like it eat elephants are a starter. So yay, he dead. Or she dead, depending on which you choose.

True, and Mass Effect as well. It's games like that you can play several times and have a completely different experience each time. I mean, Dragon Age has that too, to a certain extent, but it's still somewhat different idkΒ
haha yes, me too :') that reminds me that I've been wanting to replay Origins, I'm just scared I won't enjoy it anymore because the gameplay is so slow if you compare it to the other two games. But it'd be interesting to go back and see where it all started, knowing the things that we know now.
I'm the exact opposite, actually XD I'm convinced he's not dead because yeah, it's the Fade, but ... it's Hawke. He defeated the arishok in single combat, killed demons like Xebenkeck and Hybris and even Corypheus (even though he survived in the end, but you know, details! lmao), and then there's that ominous prophecy thing where Flemeth basically tells Hawke in DA2 to go for it and jump into the abyss when the opportunity presents itself etc. If anyone could defeat the Nightmare demon, surely it must be Hawke. I'm trying to be optimistic here because I just really love my Hawke and my current inquisitor actually did leave him in the Fade

Wait, what? If you love Hawke why leave him in the fade? Was Alister with you too?

Solaeil In reply to WritterInTheArtHat [2015-09-01 18:57:09 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, it was Alistair this time around :/ and between him and Hawke I figured Hawke had the better chances to survive this thing

Knew it! Everyone always saves Alistair. Nothing wrong with that but I'm just saying. I suppose you got a point there. Alistair would be demon meat a lot quicker then Hawke.

Exactly! If it were a darkspawn horde Alistair could probably deal with it, but a giant ugly nightmare spider demon in the Fade? That's actually pretty much right up Hawke's alley lmao

You're right, but I personally think they're dead for good. That's just my personal opinion. Well what ever is going to happen I want it to happen NOW! 8th of September is too far away, release it now!!!!! XD

Well, I mean, there are worse things to dream about XD but I think I've watched the trailer about 37895234289 times which is entirely too many for any sane person. I feel like BioWare should be paying for our therapy because Maker, what an emotional rollercoaster!!

You think the trailer is an emotional rollercoaster? Wait until the actual game. I swear, if they force the love interests to watch the Inquisitor die, I am going to cry for DAYS!

If the LI dies I am going to scream. You could probably hear me if you listen carefully.
I have no idea what will happen. We'll just have to wait until next week to find out, though it may seem like years.
