Description
"The burning shores await!The boy sails valiantly across the vast oceans.
Transcending good and evil, he earns his rightful place amidst the waves.
The wind blows across his face, violently yet freely."
This is entitled "Peaceful Violence", which pretty much makes up part two of my previous artwork K Y U U B I . K I N G ( [link] ).
This shows Naruto transforming into Kyuubi-Mode.
I rendered this using Pen Tool only, plus a few filters and lighting effects. Hope you like how this turned out, coz I did!
I would really want to hear from you guys about how I did here. Thanks!

[link] She's colored in this and it might help too. Her hair is like little Hinata's hair, but longer. She wears her headband around her neck and has whiskers. Mitsuki's eyes are blue, but whenever she gets mad they turn red. She wears baggy leg weights and tight blue shorts. Her sleeves are long like a kimono's and she wears a full fishnet thingy like Anko. That all work?

Yup it does, it gives me a lot of practice hehe!!! I try to do as much as I can for now, coz in a few weeks I might get the job position that I applied for (yay cartoonist / illustrator!!!!)

Well, this is the process of how I do most of my artworks:
1. Conceptualize
2. I draw the artwork using a light pencil.
3. I ink it using a good inking pen (I use point 5 felt tip) - I don't need to ink when I have a tablet.^^
4. Time to scan (300 dpi pixel resolution / greyscale)
5. Clean artwork using Levels / Contrast / Eraser Tool using Photoshop.
6. Begin rendering! I color mainly using the Magic Wand Tool & Paint Bucket / Gradient Tool.
7. I shade the artwork using a darker shade of each color, using the Pen Tool (I usually make shadings 60% opacity, you can also use the Polygonal Lasso Tool.)
8. I add extra details using the tools from above.
9. I add lighting effects (Filter > Render > Lighting Effects for dark areas / night scenes or Lens Flare for day scenes). Using other filters can really help make the art look alive and dynamic.
10. I save as jpeg > max quality 10 and that's it!

It's REALLY helpful to Google tutorials. Like when I wanna do a rain, snow, water, fire or lightning effect, I just search for tutorials on Google. It's really a big help! ^^
