The Bad moon stand's in his mega armor staring down upon the Marine with disdain. He heft's the shield cannon up and check's the chamber finding the fragger empty of all thing's. The same can be said of the Marine commander, finding the bolter empty to purge the vile Ork nob out of existence. standing tall the Commander call's out." Nob come face me! Fight me in combat like so many of your thick headed race enjoy's so much!" he growl's.
The Meganob blink's and smile's slowly, his red eye's focusing upon the Marine curiously," ya got eh deff wish welp? fine by me," it cackle's slamming it massive mace against the shield and step's forward," Ah gunna add eh piece o ye te mah collection." and with that both stand ground. waiting to see who of the two make's the first move.

Cool! I like your little story which goes with these miniatures too. I have only played Orkz two or three times, which wasn't easy, there are so many of them which are fielded and they have quite a decent toughness if I recall correctly. I like especially the paintjob of the spacemarine commander in this piece and the mace of course.

For the firts time....there is something I dont like! Woo, so unusual! Its the yellow. Sorry, but I think it could be better, even if I know it is a pain on the ass to paint...
Anyways, the rest is actually ver cool. The clean painting of the space marine stands out.

Yeah the yellow does kinda bug me as well, but knowing Da Bad Moon orks, it actually works out for them. It's not supposed to be perfectly painted on in their case. You gotta have that kinda ugly yellow because chances are, they just found a bucket of yellow paint and slopped it on there. It helps bring a bit of realism to the picture.
However, I'm not sure the space marine stood out too well in relation to the yellow. My eyes were immediately attracted to the ork, from the face, to the weapon-bearing arm, to the weapon itself. That was when I truly took notice of the space marine. I'm not sure if that was intended, but it likely had to do with the sheer size of the ork, and the fact that it's closer to the center of the image.
However, the space marine is very nicely painted. I really like the way you did the cloth on it, and the look of grim determination is clear on his expression.
