Once upon a time, I saw the trailer for Lucasfilm's "Strange Magic" meant to release in January, and didn't think much of it. More recently, I stumbled onto it again after catching wind of some spoilers that sparked my interest.In the end, I realized I really dug this guy's design. (Are you surprised? Tall, spindly, questionably creepy and so often jerk-faced? I'm too predictable.)
Even though the critics have DESTROYED it (20% on Rotten Tomatoes) I've actually found that I really enjoy what I've seen of it by watching clips online/listening to the soundtrack. And the imagery is just too fun and the story/characters are too adorable.
Any who. Here's a doodle, just because I found myself weirdly fascinated by this guy's design.

Stumbled upon this movie this weekend. There is so much that is giggle-worthy of it, I don't know why it was rated everywhere so low. Also, Alan Cumming has a really appealing voice.

I've seen the movie! Β And I liked it!
Be warned, there is nonstop singing. Β I'm not even joking they can't stop. Β So much singing.
But at least the songs are fun. Β And once you get used to singing (around when Marianne sings Kelly Clarkson's Stronger), then the rest of the movie is a fun, cute, rollicking ride with gorgeous animation.
This dude was one of my favorite characters. Β The love story was just awesome. Β And the characters were great. Β It was a really fun movie. Β XD
