I loved the anime too. Though I wish it didn't have such an unhappy ending. Akira should have killed the bad guy and get the girl. Darn it!

tbh, i only think you call that anime an extraordinary psychological anime with probably the best OST of the year bcuz it had such a depressing and threatening atmosphere from the beginning within. i don't know if i would have enjoyed it like i did when everything would be fine in the end. i must say i do love apocalypse anime and those with opressive mood and devilman crybaby surpassed my expectations
