I LUFF ME SOME BILLY AND TEDDY.young avengers is my new fandom. :3
(my next cosplay is Teddy, I'm pretty sure. And will be my Billy, I THINK. 8D These are vague plans.)
They both look kinda shell shocked. lol. I would be too, after a battle. Jeezum, I can't imagine how unhealthy superheroing would be, with the constant adrenaline surges. Would really tax your nervous system. :/
I think I'm gonna color and make this one nice, but I just wanted to let you guys know I'm not dead. Art intensive is almost over.

Yeahhhh. XD All this art training has made me want to color stuff. So, a lot less pencil up in here in the future!

I had been staying away from Young avengers for a long time (Who needs Young Avengers when you have the old ones? And it's probably a cutefied story for kids, bleah <- that was me a few days ago).
But then my Intgernet connection got damaged because of the recent storms and I had nothing to do except browsing stuff on my laptop (too afraid to turn the PC on because of the stroms, again...) And I just happened to have lots of Marvel comics torrented, including Young Avengers, and it was INSTANT LOVE.

It's so not cutefied. EXCEPT IT SO IS. BILLY AND TEDDY. They're so damn mushy. Have you noticed that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. one gets hurt/punched/kicked/stabbed/flipped off/cussed at/etc. the other one stops whatever he's doing, and screams his name? BILLY! TEDDY! or sometimes HULKLING! WICCAN!
AND OMG I BOUGHT THAT IN THE STORE LIKE THREE WEEKS AGO AND JUST DROOLED. "a double bed. wat is dis. *fixes*"
and then, yeah, I was like "TOMMY YOU FARKING COCKBLOCK! GTFO, THEY DON'T WANT TO BE RESCUED."

thought with marvel comics, fic makes everything better. Characterization doesn't fully manifest for me in the books themselves. :/ It feels like the writer knows the characters personally, but I as the reader don't get to connect with them as well as i would in a movie or a novel. BUT THEN, GOOD FIC FILLS THE SPACE.
