This is such a bright cheery piece. I ADORE the framing. I love the fact that you caught the buildings at a nice curve, adding motion to the photo. I think there would have been a very strong temptation to fill the shot with the colourful boxes. Although it would be nifty, I think that you resisting the temptation has resulted in a stronger piece.

Thanks a lot chica! This is one of my favourites from that trip, but I didn't expect it would get so much attention. I'm glad you noticed it: the line of the buildings curving away out of sight with the river is exactly what caught my eye in the first place!
This is actually version 2.0 of this shot. When we arrived in the morning, I knew I wanted to capture the view but it was hazy and the sun was in the wrong place. I figured it would be a better photo in the afternoon so when we were leaving later in the day, I made sure to stop...
