This weeks illustration Friday theme is GESTUREI chose to paint a girl signing the ASL symbol for I LOVE YOU and hopefully I translated it correctly!

I used a brush with lots of little spots around the edges and had it vary from small to big and just kept filling it in in different shades, erasing here and adding there till it started to look like I wanted it!

I so want to do one, I want to do a video of my screen while I work, but my computer is so old it can;t seem to handle any of the programs! My goal this year is to get a new computer

How do you give the hair that texture! It looks very realistic and beautiful!

Its a bunch of different brushes on low opacity settings and then different sizes, from really small to really large and I just soft of scribble with my pen tablet, and then I go in a erase around the edges at a really slow setting till it looks nice and fluffy!
