So this is a really old thing that I did a while ago, so please excuse the less than stellar painting quality. (Not that it's better now, but still, I like to think that I've somewhat improved)

Anyway, this is a little more lore-oriented of a piece from Solstita's world. The stature is the first incarnation of the Elemental of death. Her actual name is not really known and she was often simply referred to as The Lady of Blood. She sacrificed herself to send the dragon life away from their home swiftly collapsing home-planet, the first planet created by Space and Time. The affect of the collapse of the planet was not the planet folding in on itself, but rather an excess of energy having been taken from the planet's core, so the planet retaliated by beginning to siphon energy off of it's inhabitants.

The Lady of Blood sacrificed the last of her elemental energy to 1. Send the remaining dragon population to a safe planet, and 2. Stabilize the planet to a level that the Dragons may have the hope of one day returning to their home planet. She was very different from the new incarnation of the Elemental of Death, known as Mortuus, who tends to be a lot more brash and quick-acting than the former Elemental of Death who was a little more outwardly benevolent and soft-spoken.

As far as the other elementals, Death is the only one who has passed and then 'reincarnated' in some form.
