Edit 5.27.05 - This piece wants more love. I've made some edits to the image where things were bothering me. Sorry to those of you who have seen this if I seem obnoxious, but all opinions are encouraged and cherished.I think I appreciate this work more now then I did at the time I was doing it, because I've grown to develop a better appreciation for Kakashi's character. Sweet little thing

It's beautiful! I like how all the coloring appears to match the others, not just thrown in there mel-pel. Kakashi's expression is stubborn, but it;s not jst that, it seems that he is looking up to Sakumo

oh wow, the perspective on this is great...i like how surly young kakashi looks, suits his character well. Only complain i'd make is that kakashi's dad's head seems too large, should be smaller since he's farther away

The coloring job is superb, but the perspective seems to be off. It just doesn't look like we are looking at them from above - it looks like we're right in front of them and that they just have small hands and legs.
Another tip you may not like is to tone down the realism. Adding wrinkles to the face may be realistic, but it just makes them less pretty.
There are some things you need to improve, but still I love your art, and I'm amazed by how much you've improved. Keep it up!

Hey, it's just my opinion. No need to be sorry.
Wrinkles may look better on adults, but kids usually have "smooth" skin, so it makes the little Kakashi buddy look weird... a bit like a dwarf.
If it was the opposite (as in, Kakashi being behind his father(?)), then wrinkles on the adult would probably look better. So it isn't really a case of unnecessary realism, just unfitting I guess.
Still, remember that I love it, and I'm just helping you think how to fix the flaws next time. I'm faving it for the great effort and amazing shading.

Thanks! I'll keep in mind what you said, the feedback means a lot to me :3 For the realism comment...I experiment and it goes into different degrees. The truth is a face with more detail and expression is just plain more attractive to me, even though others might not see it that way. So while I do agree that adding more realism to my style makes it less "pretty", the fact is that I'm not trying to make my drawings as pretty as possible. My drawing style isn't fixed yet of course, but I think it'll get more realistic before it gets less
