My entry for ~KazeHA 's contest "leaves and feathers.
Okay, yes, I'm a bit obsessed with twins
I tried to have symetrical and asymmetrical elements for this drawing.
the coloring of the dresses was real fun
mon entrée pour le concours de ~KazeHA "feuilles et plumes".
Oui, je sais, je suis un peu obsédée par les jumeaux on dirait
J'ai essayé de donner un effet à la fois symetrique et assymétrique pour ce dessin.
je me suis vraiment bien amusée à mettre en couleur les robes.

Well, thanks for the critique. but I don't think my picture lacks contrast. I wanted to work that way, as my last work were very dark with a lot of contrast.
but you are perfectly allowed to think my image lacks contrast, after all, art is a matter of sensibility

like stated the contrast would be on areas like creases in cloth to make them look more like waves of fabric. At the moment the shades in the colour in the fabric overpower the underlying lineart. I think if you want a painterly look here it might be worth not drawing in the folds of fabric as lineart

I like their eyes and lips! And "Autumn" green looks majestic! Like the leaves of the tree.

J'aime beaucoup le concept ! On peut sentir une complicité entre les deux personnages ... Vraiment réussi !^^

Une bien belle oeuvre.
Tout d'abord on ne peut pas pister (sauf pour les feuilles) les différents stocks utilisés, ce qui devient assez rare malheureusement 
Ensuite le mélange me fait rapidement penser à une passation de l'automne vers l'hiver, c'est vraiment réussi

c'est marrant, tu trouves toujours dans mes oeuvres une lecture à laquelle je n'avais pas pensée, mais qui pourtant est pertinente
