Remember the Body Swap Mode from Shovel Knight? I just had a thought "What if Shantae had a Body Swap Mode too?" So, I came up with the idea. Here's part 1;

Shantose - Male counterpart of Shantae.
Pronounced Shan-Toe (The 2nd S is silent) . He is a half-genie in training born to a genie father and a human mother. He is in charge of protecting Scuttle Town from the evil pirate Ricky Boots. He also has the power to transform into animals by sword dancing (ie, he summons swords with magic).

Bala - Female counterpart of Bolo.
Shantose's childhood friend. She's a bit of a ditz, but push her the wrong way and she'll smash you with a giant spiked ball. She tends to flirt with any cute guy she meets, except Shantose who she sees like a brother to her..... sometimes.

Cloud - Male counterpart of Sky (Get it? Sky, Cloud. LOL!)
Shantose's other friend. He's often the big brother figure to Shantose, he looks after and rises war birds to help the people in Scuttle Town. He's almost never seen without his pet bird, Spanner.
