Alright, getting the timing right for the photo is pretty hard, I know and you did pretty well there. However, the framing of this shot is a bit disturbing in a way that there's the wide open space on the left of the shot... Focusing could be improved but of course, that's entirely up to the photographer... A higher shutter too if it was up to me... Still, good shot, try experimenting with some other liquids too..

About the shutter with flash 1/200 is the fastest....
1/250 now that i have an external one
