Kampfer of "Mobile Suit----Gundam 0080:War in the Pocket" by Sunrise

An art trade requested by Rei-Sengoku which has been delayed for quite a while until now.Originally,he requested for Dis Astranagant which appeared briefly at the beginning of "Super Robot Wars OG: Divine Wars" but with both of us unable to find a decent reference,we settle for Kampfer instead.

As for the illustration,although I used the Anime version as the reference,somewhat modified it as I go along.Compared with the original version,this one appeared sleeker and the left shoulder part is not as bulky and probably may have made a few mistakes as there are quite a lots of little details I tried to capture,otherwise I still like how it turned out even there are some fine details ended up being smudged up during the touch up process.

Played around with the photocopier a bit as the original copy exceeded the A3 sized paper with part of the left shoulder and the feet cut off in the original piece,and I drew those two parts on the separate pieces of paper before I reduced them down to the desirable sizes.Initially,I intend to draw Kampfer hovering in the diagonal angle as it enter the battlefield as depicted in the Anime but only realised that it will covered some of the other finer details so in the end,decided to aim for something safe and simple besides the fact that I am not really confident with something too drastic at that time.

By the way,somewhat wished that I didn't start this piece so early as I have found some references of Dis Astranagant in the volume 8 of "Super Robot!" during my trip back to Malaysia but then again,I already have the piece done halfway before the trip.Lastly,hope he will like it and look forward to see his end of the trade when he is done.
