 I really dig those nice watercolor spot over their eyes . I almost feel like being on LSD just looking at them. What's great with watercolor is the way they form those subtle textures and agglomerations, just like light sparkles filtering through a gem.

 

    Being richer, i would buy those with primary colors right away, they are really evocative for me .The purple one seems offset, because it's the only one being a secondary color (even if the yellow one is technically orange) and being seen from profile.

I am so happy to hear that it makes you feel that way, that is exactly the effect I wanted it to have!

It is true the purple one is the only one having a side profile and that makes it different to the others :s . I am currently making another purple and orange one, when I'm done with those i plan on doing another with a side profile! I hope to have soon 2 pictures of every colour, stay tuned!

I used watercolour paper (fabriano, traditional white, satin, hot pressed), watercolours from winsor&newton and coloured pencils (pilot color eno)
