Well would you look at that? I posted something: a sure sign of the apocalypse.Yes it's Kurama. Because I still like his old school goodness. Less and less people are familiar with Yu Yu Hakusho, it makes me feel old.
I nearly crapped my pants when I saw YYH cosplay at Connecticon '08.
And what better way to practice with my tablet than draw one of my favorite characters?

... Before I degenerate into fangirlish squeals, I just have to say that your brushwork is AMAZING; I'm just staring at it and adoring it, and I really like the pinkish/redish tint... It fits so well.
And, sadly, I know what you mean... This is one of my favorite animu, and it's getting more obscure than I remember it being about ten years ago, even when it wasn't translated or anything... I'm beginning to feel old as well. ;<
Bah, but your lovely artwork makes me feel much better, especially since Kurama is my favorite anime character.^^ You've done gorgeous work, keep it up!

Ugh, yeah tell me about it... I realize that a lot of the anime I watched when I was younger made more of an impression on me just because I grew up with it, but there's still just something really special about shows like YYH... Well, you know what I mean.

Great shading, though the bangs on the right side look a little weird where the tips seem to disappear behind Kurama's eye. That aside the hair has great texture, too.
Ah, Yu Yu Hakusho. I remember watching the first few episodes on a VHS fansub back in the day. Now I feel old, too, but YYH will always be one of my favorites. When I saw that these figures were coming out as part of Weekly Shonen Jump's 40th anniversary, I had to get them! XD
