I was graciously given permission to draw this by I am very grateful, and this deviant has an excellent gallery, I suggest you pay him a visit ^_^Well anyhow, I had a lot of fun drawing this, it didn't take me very long, about 8 hours or so. I used graphite pencils B-5B, I usually don't exceed a 3B but I felt it was necessary
Portraits are fun but they take more out of me than what I am used to, this was a great opportunity and I'm starting to really enjoy drawing in a realistic sense! I hope you enjoy it!

Of all the pieces in your gallery, this one stood out the most to me. It's so gorgeous, subtle and smooth that it's hard to believe that it was created by human hands-- there are absolutely no flaws that I can see.

I am not trying to offend in anyway, more of constructive critism. I looked at both your drawing and 's photo and although your drawing is amazingly good, it kind of looks like she's got her tongue in her cheek. The left part of her lip also has less shading, making it look slightly stretched, which sort of exaggerates her left cheek, which happens to be slightly puffy. I know it's just the angle of the photo. I just thought i'd add in my two cents. I know it's hard to free hand pictures like that. I have one picture of an anime character, that instead of looking 3D it honestly looks like it's been flattened on the page, because I drew his face too wide, also due to the angle. anyways, i'll shaddup now lol..
Great work, please don't let this discourage you, you do an amazing job and keep up the good work.

That's really impressive. You seem to have a real eye for contrast. It's very realistic. I also think that you did great on the eyes. That looks like something incredibly difficult. Very good.
