Um... all due respect to the value of fantasy and everyone's individual opinions and all, but... Sarah getting involved romantically with Jareth would have been a terrible idea. Both in the context within the movie, and as an idea for the story of the movie.
The entire message of the movie was Sarah avoiding the temptation of getting trapped in her Jareth fantasy, and thus trapped in childhood. The whole movie was about the need for Sarah to grow up, to get over the adolescent fantasy of being swept away from all her problems by some princely man who will take care of everything for her -- the "domineering servant" ideal that can't possibly exist.

I think that they need desperatly to redo Labyrinth.
They need to hire on david Bowie again, and rewrite it, and make it into a new, updated production.

Ohhh wow! this picture is incredible. I am such a fan of the "labyrinth" movie. I reckon a number 2 should be made for all of us who would like to see sarah and jareth hook up or continue the fairy tale.
