Day 4 pt1 - Astral Equinox

A gorgeous ethereal figure floating near a planet drew the Little Stéarran’s attention and made him stop. She was an echo of a Galawisp and she seemed almost lonely, just watching the light from a planet’s sun wash over it. Curious, he approached her. “Hello,” he said softly, “What are you doing?” he asked, less softly and more inquisitive.

The Galawisp looked at him and then back at the planet. “Isn’t it beautiful? A delicate balance of light and darkness that only happens twice in a cycle and only when everything falls into place and is where it should be,” she said in a melodic voice. “It always seems that the most beautiful things are the most rare and delicate,” she said before drifting closer to him, her wispy wings carrying her along. “It is this beauty that I embody and that I adore. You yourself have such a beauty to you little one,” she said as she caressed his cheek with one hand before running it through his hair. “What are you and what brings you here?” she asked.

The Little Stéarran looked up at her, a small bit of fear in his eyes. “I-i’m a Stéarran and I am on a journey to find my true home,” he tried to say bravely. He could feel chills and shivers over his body this was a very new sensation, one he definitely did not like.

The Galawisp smiled at him, it was warm and yet somehow very unnerving, uncomfortable. “Well, would you consider being mine and staying here forever. I promise I shall take the utmost care of you. It would be a shame for your beauty to fade into obscurity somewhere in the dark, cold loneliness beyond,” she said.

The Little Stéarran didn’t know how to respond. He was almost speechless. He couldn't stay here with her. A memory flashed before his eyes the smile of someone that made him feel so warm, loved. Someone was waiting for him, that person maybe. His instincts told him he was in danger, all he knew was he needed to get away. This lady didn’t look like she would take no for an answer either, but he would try. "That's very nice of you but I have to go," he stammered, trying to leave, before she suddenly grabbed his wrist.

"Oh but I am afraid I must insist," she said her grin widened but only became less inviting somehow. "Something as beautiful as you will be the crown jewel of my collection," she said, her eyes shifted to a dark color, full of greed, the curse of all Vaniwisps, even she a Galawisp was not immune to they couldn't help but collect and corrupt. It was in their nature after all and he was rare incredibly so, she could smell it around him in his aura.

The Little Stéarran was truly afraid now, he gave out a shout but it was eaten by the chasm of space, no one would hear. He needed to escape so he did the first thing that came to mind. "I think a moon is about to eclipse your star," he said as he pointed behind her. She turned around with a gasp, letting go of his wrist and allowing him to flee at full speed. All that knowledge from the Galaxus Librum paid off he guessed or else he might not have known.With this thought he blindly kept moving forward not daring to look back, which is how in ran into his next encounter, literally...
