Whoo-Hoo! The drawing is finally done!
Always want to draw myself a liquid drawing. Here's finally one from me after a looooong break
As I said before, this is definitely a complicated drawing since my previous Iris drawing!
I spent about two months on this drawing cause I only have time to draw on weekends & I draw really slow
I'd give myself a huge breakthrough on this drawing!
Hope you'll like it!
Every views, fav and comment are very much appreciated and feel free to tell me your thoughts!!

Amazing job. Do you have an idea of how many hours you might have spent on this over the 2 months? Do you have any tips on how to get such a deep black? So far the best I have managed is a very dark grey using graphite and it's driving me nuts. I have tried laying down many layers, I don't know if I am just doing it wrong or what lol.

Thank you!!
Hmmm, I don't really counts :/ about 2-3 hours per day maybe more (I only free to draw on weekends)
About the deep black back there, here's my techniques: After done out-lining all the drawing. I'll layer with a 3b pencil first (just follow your hand's flow no need too dark on this stage) You can also fixing some mistake of the drawing on this stage, then you can layer it once again with 4b with a more darken layer. Then apply one more layer with 5b pencil. You can have a really deep dark now, but you'll still see some space lacking the darkness so you can touch up with a 6b pencil. You must be very careful on using 6b pencil cause it's really dark, try to apply a little first on other paper before you use it on your drawing. When you finish the drawing you need to touch up a bit (I'm usually using 3b, 4b & 5b on this stage). Hope it will helps

So you do each layer as a softer pencil. Do you ever need to press hard or just let your hand weight work with the softness on each new pencil? The step by step is pretty cool btw. I love seeing an image go start to finish.

Thanks a lot. It feels really great finding someone who doesn't mind sharing how they do some of the things they do.
