Continuing with my works for the fanzine Elfstone, here are some illustrations I made for an article I wrote myself about unicorns. You can blame the delightful film (and novel) "The Last Unicorn", maybe because of it I've included unicorns into my list of favourite fantasy creatures... but not those RPG unicorns which look like war horses with a horn, but the delicate creatures, the size of a deer, with big eyes and thin legs you can see in medieval tapestries. When I got the book "De Historia et veritati unicorni" I decided I had to share my own vision of these shy, sweet animals, and I wrote an article and made my own drawings to go with it.

This is maybe the most popular sight of an unicorn: looking in adoration to the eyes of his beloved maiden. This one is not going to betray him, after all.

Continuando con mis trabajos para el fanzine Elfstone, aquí pongo algunas ilustraciones que hice para un artículo que yo misma escribí sobre unicornios. Podeis culpar a la deliciosa película (y novela) "El último unicornio", quizás por ella incluí a los unicornios en mi lista de criaturas fantásticas favoritas... pero no esos unicornios que salen en los Juegos de Rol que parecen caballos de guerra con un cuerno, sino las delicadas criaturas, del tamaño de un ciervo, grandes ojos y finas patas que se pueden ver en los tapices medievales. Cuando conseguí el libro "De Historia et veritati unicorni" decidí que tenía que compartir mi visión de estos animales, tímidos y dulces, y escribí un artículo que acompañé de mis propios dibujos.

Esta es quizás la visión más popular de un unicornio: mirando con adoración a los ojos de su amada doncella. Y, no, esta no va a traicionarle.
