Hi everyone! Glad you liked that last page... hope you like this week's too! It probably seems a little slow moving from your point of view, but I'm trying to think about how it would look like in print as well - if I could have done a double page spread, I would, hehe.As you can tell, I totally indulged in trying to make this super pretty XD It is part of this key scene after all...

well done. please may i ask, im making a manga, but storylines really throw me. can i ask how such an awesome manga artist like yourself started and how you get inspiration for plots?

(First let me clarify that whilst I do write many of my own stories, AyaTakeo is written by Lloyd Prentice.)
Inspiration means different things to different people. For me, reading a good books, listening to particular music, or looking at artwork in general - it doesn't have to be manga. Ultimately, it's best to come up with a story that really enthuses you,or you won't be able to keep up the momentum. Don't do action for the sake of it if you don't like drawing action, for example. Don't do horror if you can't stand gore, hehe.
People also write stories in different ways - some think of the message first, others think of the setting first, also some think of the characters first. But whatever it is, it needs to have an engaging start, which makes readers what to find out what happens in the middle, then even if open-ended, must come to some resolution. You'll be surprised how many people can't grasp that basic concept!
