yes i love seeing your pencil work, i'm particularly looking forward to this series being all ready and pretty as well.
I like the angle of this as well, a mixture of 2/4 and profile, it's very dynamic.

Ah, I draw in coloured leads so I don't need to rub out anything when I ink over in black - I can remove the colours by just filtering different channels in Photoshop. I hate rubbing out pencil lines, it's time consuming, it hurts my arm and you risk scrunching your paper!
Thank you, I'm glad you like it ^^

Yup - pick a bright colour, one that will not have too many values shared with others. Primary colours work best - (i.e. blue/cyan, red/magenta, yellow if you want to mess up your eyes). That way, it is easier to find a channel which matches closely.
i.e. If I use a bright blue and ink over in black, I make sure my colour mode is RGB, then I remove the Red and Green channel (as the Blue would not show at all on the Blue channel). This turns all my blacks to yellow, and all the blues white. I desaturate the yellows and voila! Perfect, clean black inks.
Depending on the colour of your leads, you may need to switch colour mode, pick different channels to work with - but it's all about finding the one which removes the colour you've used.
