Oh good lord, it's done!*deep breath* Ok. Way back on May 29th, I did a picture of Dream and Delirium. In the midst of comments, gave me the idea of doing a pic of the whole Endless gang. And three months later, here it is.
Eesh, that makes it sound like I've been working on this thing for three months straight. That wasn't the case. To be honest, this pic was lost under my bed for a good chunk of the summer
Still, despite the wonky anatomy, I'm happy with how it turned out, since it's the biggest group picture I've attempted in a loooooong while. I modeled this after a group shot of The Brady Bunch, because I'm no good at doing serious pictures and the Endless are just... so not the Brady Bunch in any way. The contrast made me giggle. Originally, I wanted to do a goofy Brady-Bunch-stye pic with headshots of everybody in a 3x3 grid, but there weren't enough Endless to fill up all the boxes. Then again, I could've stuck in Daniel and Barnabas... hmm...
The Endless are set up here in youngest-to-eldest order, not counting Barnabas the dog. There's Delirium, Despair, Desire, Dream, Death and Destiny. And Destruction down below, peeking out of his little hidey-hole. Hee. I like the goofy little Destruction cameo. He's too cool to leave out of the picture, plus I wanted to get all seven Endless people in. Yay for Destruction! (try saying that out of context in a public area, it gets you lots of weird looks!)
Why yes, that staircase is fading off into an endless void! Of course I wasn't lazy with the background, don't be silly!

Ha. I like the addition of Destruction's dog with Delirium. Destruction's expression is pretty classic too.
For some reason having them posed on the stairs like that reminds me of the Brady Bunch, and that cracks me up.

The staircase fading into an endless void is fine, I just assume it's a wall behind them since stairs are often built against walls. It would be good, though, to have a more defined contrast between the plane facing us and where the front of the stairs areβmaking it darker or lighter along the line and not just kinda gradient-ing (gradating? don't know ... ) together. The colours on the characters are all really nice, but if the background has no dimension at all they just look like they're floating. With the stair rail as a life support. Hehe ^Λ^; Anyway, I guess you know that. I love the looks of all the characters (don't know them themselves though) and the Brady-Bunch setup is a really fun idea. Their expressions are all great!

I love how you did Destruction most of all. It's like he snuck in the photo at the last moment. Very true to his character there I think.
