Strictly speaking it's not actually a bullpup configuration.
"Bullpup" literally means that the action is behind the trigger group. This results in a longer effective barrel with no increase in range.
Since spike magazine is in front of the trigger, the action is in front of and over the trigger, making it a conventional submachine pistol/carbine.

Yep, the valve regulates the gas, and the handle above the drum clip is for reloading(due to the background history of the gun, there were no reload button back then)

Use photoshop or any kind of software to adjust the brightness, contrast, hue, and chroma "after" you scanned it. Computer manipulation is very useful these days.
