Species Info:
The Sand Cat is endemic to the deserts in Northern Africa, Arabia, parts of Central Asia and Pakistan. Unlike domesticated cats, it can survive without drinking water because it obtains all the fluid it needs from its prey (including rodents, reptiles, insects and birds).

I just love these cats! One time $ewm and I were there, they dumped a bunch of crickets in there and it was so much fun to watch them go after them. LOL

Kitty!
Domesticating wild cats may not be a good idea, but there's nothing wrong with breeding domestic cats to look like people's favorite wild cats. It's been done already with the ocelot and the bobcat. Maybe someone out there has a very sand-cat-looking Felis cattus.
