I had so much fun making this cutie! He is a commission for gecko-tooth, we decided to go for floppy wings to keep him cuddly being a lying-down plush. It's amazing how much black minky it took to make all of the wings, spikes and fins (if they are called fins?)

Toothless measures 24"/60cm long and 23"/58cm wide which is mainly the wingspan.

I'm currently watching through NazFX 's video tutorials and learning lots of new things, especially with pattern making. This time I tried out sewing in-the-hoop for all the spikes and horns on his head.

His scales are near-black embroidery thread, so they mostly show up in the light which is a nice effect. I'm happy with the jaw area too, the lower seam line doubles up as a mouth.
I'd definitely love to make another Toothless in the future, perhaps a standing one with wired wings and an open-close mouth!
