Description
Finally found the CD that had my costuming II project! And now probably the hardest part of this whole project-
This over dress.

I made the bodice and the skirt and bell sleeves out of two different types of fabric. It was a bit difficult as I had to make patterns and draft all of them separately and kinda play with them to get them all working together. Especially the bodice and skirt since this skirt had a train.
After I got it all cut out and put together came the most time consuming part... Decorating.

The outfit I based this off of (Google The Accolade had a ton of embroidery work however I'm not really that handy with that stuff. So I took my costuming professors advice and I sewed lace onto the bottom edge of the skirt to give it the look. I also tried beading a bit on some of the flowers and I hope to finish beading on it maybe sometime this winter since I'd love to take pictures of this out in the snow.

The coin gold bit around the sleeves and the collar were a lot of fun to sew and iron. And I have to admit- next to the beading- that puffed and bell sleeves were kinda my favorite on this next to the lace up the back bit (which I may have to get pictures of later).

The only complaint I have this this was the neck line... I think I made it a bit high but I can fix that quickly.
