this is the complete story of the Roro Jonggrang tale (the tale itself tittled Prambanan Temple).

this piece contains layers with frameless picture that explain each phase in Prambanan mythology. if you want to read it, read it like comic without text, begin from upper left-side end in bottom-right side

here is the tale (thanks for subscribed it ^^)

There was a beautiful princess, a daughter of King Boko, named Roro Jonggrang. Bandung Bondowoso, a prince whose kingdom outpowered the kingdom of King Boko proposed the princess.

For the princess didn't love the prince, she gave him a prerequisite, to build a thousand temple in a night, or else, she would reject the proposal.

The prince used his magic power, with the help of mystical creatures and demons. The temples were completed very quickly.

Roro Jonggrang was so terrified, so that she thought of an idea. She asked the women to work on pounding rice grains and burning straws, making a morning conditions that woke up the roosters.

Hearing the sound of the roosters, the demons thought that it was already morning. They got chaosed. They already did 999 temples, but didn't get to finish the 1000th.

Bandung was very angry for this failure. He cursed Roro Jonggrang into a statue. And that's how the Sewu Temples and Roro Jonggrang Temples was made.

anyway,i submitted this in Concept magazine 1001 creative cover competition.i got in big 200 one ^^
