Featuring Silver, one of my OCs from a story I'm writing
He's one of my oldest, circa 2004. I call the guys from this series my Ensemble.Silver has just about one of the most unpredictable tempers known to mankind--he's intimidating, angry, and often unreasonable, but he is very, very sure of himself and his own morals, rarely ever led astray or low in self-esteem. Silver only respects people with enough wit and odd quirks that inexplicably appeal to him--Aidan's sheepish smiles, Skye's unstoppable sarcasm, Lale's silence... all examples of things he just ends up "liking". He's quite the bully, too; Silver dishes out a lot of tough love, and is mum when it comes to his personal life, but he rarely--if ever--complains. He can take hits and take hardships and pain in stride. Despite all of his odd scariness and coldness and aggression, he can still end up cracking the occasional inappropriate joke. And oh, god, does he love his dirty jokes.
Though he's quite prickly and thorny, he's quite the chivalrous guy underneath. His short temper and his vicious tongue is often curbed when he's in the presence of women and children. Silver is quite awkward when it comes to comforting or generally being... pleasant... so he masks his comical ineptness of social situations with scowls and snappy remarks. Oddly enough, though he's not exactly smart at making friends, it always gives him pleasure when people seek his company. Also, he has four piercings: both ears, his left eyebrow, and the bottom right corner of his lip.
Sil has white anemones. Anemones represent fragility, forsaken, anticipation, wind and even hope. Out of sheer stubborness, Silver rarely shares his own burdens with others. Something both frightening and deep-seated simmers underneath all of his anger and odd hot-cold moods, and anemones are for his hope that one day this feral part of his life will finally be pacified.

Now this is truly an interesting character, he must attract many love-struck fangirls and not because of his looks either. You matched his grumpy expression through what you described quite well.
He's likely the least feminine-looking male in this group, although that doesn't really matter to me, I had figured it was worth pointing out.
You're very quickly improving in your anatomy Miss Sorelliena although his nose seems to look too "hard" in my opinion. Regardless, the mistakes in this piece is not very noticeable because of the character alone in a way of his rather mysterious nature just by looking at him.
The flowers, not to ignore them in terms of how well depicted, match the character's clothing wonderfully... or was that something I have overlooked with the rest of your Ensemble characters? That'd be pretty sad if that was intentional after all this time.
I like this character already, I'm interested in how he normally relates to the rest and how they look at him. If he does indeed have a lot more piercings on him as you say, I wouldn't be too accepting since it simply bugs me but of course, you wouldn't let that stop you from what you truly think is best.

Haha, I'm glad you find him interesting. I'm betting at this point Madeleine must feel like a cookie-cutter stereotype in comparison to the rest of them, hmm?
Haha, there are eight people in the ensemble. Three females, five males. Silver is by far the most masculine out of all of them, but that's not to say all of them are effeminate like Val XD
(MY ANATOMY STILL SUCKS) and umm... I'm not sure what you mean by the flowers matching clothes... the flowers and each person's outfit is supposed to coordinate and correspond with one another, and yes, it was intentional XD

Colleen is the more interesting female and of course Silver for the males, this is based on how an individual looks at them and how developed they are. Personality-wise, they are all nicely developed.
I apparently suffered brain damage for me to forget that already regarding the flowers and clothing.
Oh, please do, I did say in the past that I would like to read them. Don't feel bad, I regularly set commissions on having my OCs and main characters drawn to help promote my fanfic, which is never read despite being only 10 chapters completed. I've also acknowledged that I have poor story-telling skills too, so, we relate in a way.
