Illustration for a multimedia project I am in the midst of doing. Its an interactive adaptation of the book Fahrenheit 451.

This piece features Clarisse. She acts as a guide to Montag, showing him the vibrant intricacies within life. In my interactive piece you move around her, interacting with certain parts. You begin at her right eye, follow to the right through her hair and up the splash of water to the drop of dew which falls down to the blade of grass and transforms down into the moon. It then cuts back to Montag as a contrast and comes back to her starting this time from the left eye and moving up to the left to the screen, on to the clocks and the cloud which rains wine and then down to the strip of various items at the bottom.

Theres a few items at the top left etc. that are part of her questions directed to Montag etc.

I do have a semi-coloured version but its in pieces at the moment. I had to break everything up to be able to animate certain things. Dividing this up wasn't easy, in hindsight I should of done it all separately using tracing paper (I did use tracing paper later though to pick out certain things)

The background is some watercolours as a contrast to the rough charcoal of Montag's picture.

Yes theres quite a bit here... I gave myself alot to do (as usual)!
