Dislikes:
-impulsive people (they act on reaction, therefore, it’s fairly easy to predict what he/she might do during some tricky situations. Neji hates that.)
-Yuuchi-sama (Ryuu, Guardian of the Sky Village). He says “-sama” in a sardonic way.

Personality :
To most who meet the man, Neji may seem like an approachable, blissful male with one simple intention: Making everyone he meets happy. As the embodiment of Togetic, Neji feels that it’s his responsibility that everyone is happy, and it’s a responsibility that he takes to the extremes. Although his intentions may seem innocent at first glance, they’re anything but innocent and selfless deep down.

In actuality, Neji can be quite cruel and unkind. His true definition of happiness is seeing others be put into difficult situations that only lead them into disaster, often times with it being Neji who sets up the tricky situations for his unsuspecting victims. It pleases him to see others’ struggles, as he believes that those under pressure are more likely to do unpredictable things in order to get out of the situation. Unfortunately, Neji genuinely believes that if he’s happy watching his victim, then all other witnesses who might be watching the spectacle must be happy, because, after all, Togetic are supposedly meant to bring good fortune and spread happiness, right? Wrong~

While around familiar company, Neji is able to show his somewhat laidback side. He can act a selfish at times, and bouts of laziness may take over every once in a while, but he becomes very trusting with close companions. Once he sees you as a true companion, it’s hard to shake him off and he’ll gladly tag along with you until the ends of the earth if he wants to.

History:

Neji is picky about telling his history to people, though it’s rumored that he used to be a genuinely cheerful, obliging kid that grew up in a pretty well-off family of priests; a striking contrast to what he is today. Once he hit his late teen years, Neji began taking advantage of his wealth by mooching off his parents’ fortune rather than preparing himself as a future priest. His good life took a sharp turn, however, one night after he gambled away a good fortune of his family’s money. Subsequently, his mother and father basically kicked him out with only one warning to their son: Unless their son wanted to be exiled from his family for the rest of his life, he was to change his ways and somehow recover the earnings he lost.

Currently, Neji grudgingly works as a priest, and still has yet to gain even a fraction of the money he lost years ago. Nowadays he’s more obsessed with making other’s happy (but really only ends up making himself happy through the wrong methods), hoping to follow his parents’ orders and one day be able to return back home once again.

Additional info:
-He carries around a powder that he has a knack for showering people with. Instead of calling it “joy dust”, Neji calls it “happy powder”. He loves to randomly throw it in the air whenever he’s happy, whenever other people are happy, or whenever he’s trying to make other people happy.
- The stuff is surprisingly hard to get off.
-The happy powder is actually flour. He’s too poor to afford real powder.
-Neji is allergic to flour.
-He is subsequently induced into a horrible sneezing fit whenever the flour is thrown. If any gets in his mouth, he’ll choke. Quite funny to watch.
-His wings and hood are attached together. >:
-He’s dead broke. Really. The only thing he has left from his home is a golden charm like item that he keeps around his head.
