"I'm glad I came here today, because I didn't feel confident. When I see the ocean, I feel like I'm going to get better." Soul said, relishing in the cold sea breeze. Taking in everything in her surroundings.

"Is that so? Well, I'll bring you anytime you like. It'll be part of my training." Varian offered, giving her a warm smile.

She smiled back. "You know...you're actually pretty nice." Her sentence made the inventor jolt back a bit.

"Eh? You just noticed?"

"Well, at first you seemed like a creepy person. Often following me around and wanting to talk to me. Also you seemed like you wanted to experiment on my broom before, which was quite rude by the way. Don't you know not to disturb...a witch?" Soul listed, pouting a little.

"Well, my dad did say I have a habit of being too excited over some things, and getting a bit nosy about it." He sheepishly chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry."

"It's fine." She replied, waving her hands.

After a few seconds of staring at each other in silence, they soon burst out laughing. They didn't know why they were laughing but it felt really good as they continued to enjoy each other's presence.

I know I work and probably don't continue a lot of my AUs but this AU in particular is really something I wanna write about. I have tons of ideas with this AU. It'll follow the flow of the movie, but with some aspects different to make it a bit original.

After all, Soul canonly doesn't even like being called a witch, so that's an aspect in the movie that's going to be different. I'll probably post the whole AU idea thing in tumblr. Or maybe just in my story. As for art...maybe? I still have a bit of art block but we'll see.
