how can i redesign a character that never had a real design in the first place

this is just an ongoing miscellaneous design that I throw wherever I want. she doesn't really have a name or a canon world or story she's just The Dragon or mostly the mage dragon

She can cast many 'spells' using generated energy. On her back are whatever (feathers or, originally, spines) which have blue tips; they're usually laid down at rest, but when generating energy they lift and glow, glowing slowly brighter as they generate more and more energy. She can theoretically do Anything, but must charge up enough energy first, which can take minutes for smaller spells or days, weeks, theoretically years for more OP things. When she casts a spell the spines drop and the glowing energy is released with a flash and shockwave. Stronger spells weaken her for some time.

When she breaths fire, fire also steams from her gills. Most of her abilities are fire-based. To heal herself or others, she breaths magic-charged blue fire across the wound; to shapeshift, she engulfs herself in flames that remake her. She teleports a lot using flaming portals created by first charging the energy and then breathing a blast of fire that she plunges into (similar to the HTTYD3 except i thought of it first !!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

when i was little she was like. That Really Cool Dragon that i would dissociate as being. Sometimes if I can't fall asleep I can just easily pass out directly into dreams where I am this dragon. My dreams have more or less picked up on it and I am almost always this dragon in my dreams, and the abilities associated have actually really impacted how I lucid/control dreams

since she doesnt have . any name or purpose except Me But Cool i guess you could call her a sona but like. not really? she doesnt represent me i just think itd be really cool to be a super op dragon
