Drew this a couple weeks ago~Wanted to practicing more with lineless and different effects. And since I've been playing White recently thought I'd draw Archen~ I think 5th gen is one of my favs next to 1st *u*

Archen/Archeops are awesome. Been in my main party since I got them.
Great work on this. Love the way it's like a photograph, the face being honed in on by the camera while the body fades into the background.

The pokemon is really well drawn, you did a fantastic job on it!
But I don't like the blur effect, it makes the drawing feel like bad quality. And I find that it's a shame to "worsen" your beautiful art. But maybe I'm the only one to feel that way, seeing the other comments ^^'

I keep struggling with trying to improve and wonder if the addition of effects and little alterations with color help enhance the quality. But sometimes I go a little overboard with it and feel I lose the original drawing. Maybe I'll upload the original without any of the effects c:

The perspective on this is great! Blurring certain parts and having others sharp makes for a great effect, I really should try it myself sometime. Love the coloring and this Archen is adorable~

haha I hear ya, I never know what to do with the background either. >< I plan to start drawing scenery and background-things by themselves sooner or later so that I'll get better at drawing them and also hopefully be better at including them in most drawings. (Because I almost always plan to just draw a character and not even think of a background being included.)
