Perhaps you found some solace in a love so blind
that it could stand alone, without your time
just as I cling to ghosts
and crutch old photographs.
Hold my hand.
Your fading stare
so cold and bare
stains true until my heart falls silent.
Lay down with me
amongst the reeds
until my beat is violent.

This is beautiful, Brian is right about the rhythm it flows well. As for the content I enjoyed this most sad but perfect.
