I’ve been mildly obsessed with Transformers Prime as of late. I think it’s a pretty good show. The writing isn’t too bad, the characters are loveable and the designs I think are the best since Beast Wars. Hell I can even stand the humans in this incarnation. I’ve always been a huge fan of Ratchet (and Ratchet-esk characters) and this version of him is...so much fun! He’s grumpy, he’s snarky, he’s got all the bedside manner of a bucket of used oil! It’s gonna be fun to see what they do with him, God I just hope they don’t kill him.
I also like Jack’s mom, June. She’s been in maybe 3 episodes total but now that she knows about the ‘bots I hope to see a lot more of her, if just to see her stare down Ratchet or Prime with her ‘serious face’.
Which brings us to this, the crackiest crack pairing of all time. I know they’ll never have June be Ratchet’s human partner as there are enough in the series and that would require Ratchet to go out and interact with people which doesn’t really suit him. But I can see those two identifying with one another seeing as they’re both in the medical field and maybe bonding more if they ever did an episode like Human Error or Only Human. Oh well, crack pairing is crack.
