It is an option in Elder Scrolls Online. I understand that there are some who object to ESO as any sort of canon, but honestly, I find the antlers to be very visually interesting.

I don't see any problem. It exists and I like the visual. Quite a lot has changed over the different entries since Arena. I think the option for antlers is interesting as a little hint that Bosmer are different from the other Mer because of the Green Pact and the ability of the Wild Hunt.
