Reference sheet along with a few practice sketches of Black Dahlia from the Skullgirls game. I gathered the most useful official art I could find, took notes, provided some commentary on them, and tried to familiarize myself with the character with sketches.This upload is strictly fanart for educational use and commentary only. I hope Black Dahlia fans can find it useful since there is barely any other pictorial information on her that is currently available.

Here's my theory, knowing the inspiration of her character, she has an obsession with her face, I listened to DustyOldRoses voice take it sounds fitting for her!
for ex her defeat: "My face!!! MY FACE!!! DON'T LOOK AT ME!!!"

I've fallen in love with this game again. My fiancee and I donated to the pool they are having. Trying to decide if I wanna pull out my Valentine cosplay I wore last year since the popularity seems to be growing. I'm So happy for that too!!

Glad to have helped!^^ Be careful though. There's a lot of conflicting information on her. If you look closely, you'll notice that some parts of her costume don't stay consistent even in her official pictures. O_o;

This was rather annoying when gather Minette references too. Every artist draws her radically different. I ended up just making my own reference sheet with the most average configuration :/

Hey, all replies are welcome no matter the age of the original comment.^^ I do wish the artists had a single reference to work from because it would be easier, but I think one of the positives is that it gives us more lenience and/or creative freedom to do what we want in terms of fanart/cosplay/etc.

Yeah, I noticed that. @- @ I've been trying to compile references same as here and I think I have a good compromise between most of the versions. My main problem has been that there aren't any pictures of her directly from the back. -_-;

Haha, yeah... well, I'm taking my time with it, just collecting materials at this point in time.
Hopefully by the time I get to working on it she'll be playable and there'll be hundreds of frames of reference for her... I can dream.
