I love the design on the wall behind him. It almost looks like he's chained by the shoulders, which would be symbolic of his "fate"... very cool.

This is beautiful! You have such a way with texture... Even though the pose is classic and familiar, the contrast and composition make this truly memorable. The water and patterns in the background make this really different. Nice work!

Ok. First time, I make the original (you can find it on ma gallery) with acrylic, and watercolr, and air brush (medium acrylic liquid), gouache and black ink as used to make more precision. I took some toiletpaper to do the smoke with white acrylic. Brush and pencil as used classiquely. SEcond time, I make a white and black version (on photoshop), I print, I scanned another time, and after I change the values of colors.
