i use a $60-$70 wacom intuos tablet that i found at best buy one lucky day
(it's trash lmao, but it has cactus stickers on it now so i can't,,,, bring myself to hate it)
and it works decent!! even though its pen pressure is probably garbage compared to newer stuff
i honestly think it's the art program????????? i've converted to sai lately,
and it has a MAJOR jump in quality??? you should try clip studio paint! it's a program compatible with both mac and windows
it has similar quality to sai, though different functions (and a LOT more built in brushes)
it does cost money though, but whenever you have spare change then?? consider an upgrade??
