I made this self-portrait of me for the Drunkduck book, which, as far as I know, is still scheduled for release. I'm waiting to hear from them again. I'm a little unclear on what's going on.

I have a confession to make about this, though. Two, actually. The first one is that this is certainly not the original picture of myself I had intended for the book. Clearly, this is a Wacom & Photoshop pic that I had done more recently. It's actually noticably drawn better than the Parker's Day Off comic that it's meant to accompany, which was drawn on paper and edited in Paintshop Pro using a fucking mouse.

The other confession I have to make is that I'm not this skinny at all. I wish I was. I gotta work off this holiday weight. I wanna be skinny like all the other starving artists.

But I do have a Lucy shirt in real life. Two of them, actually.

Some of you might notice that I kind look like the Nick character from Thank God For Atheism. That's because that character is based on me. The best way you can tell the difference between a self-portrait of me and a drawing of Nick is that when I draw me, I spend a little more time to make myself look extra cool.
