[ Summary ] The most obvious thing about Nayi is that she knows she's attractive. Under her mother's influence, she developed into a very confident and mendacious wolf, using her charisma to her advantage. What was once used to gain territory and power is now enough to bring amusement and satisfaction to herself, as well as gain copious amounts of blackmail about the wolves around her. Nayi is a very witty she-wolf, but also very boastful and ill-mannered. She loves to play tricks on others, and will often use what psychological knowledge she has to play mind games with those she encounters. There is much back-and-forth when conversing with her, and she will sometimes speak in riddles if she feels up to a game of cat and mouse. Those who can and want to keep up with her are who she really admires, and who she will remain loyal to. She's also pretty playful and likes to go on long runs when she gets the chance, or just chase birds and things, but she can be serious and professional, often presenting herself with an air of authority towards anyone she's unfamiliar with. Despite being on the small side, she won't back down from any challenge, which usually does more harm than good, but she's too prideful and self-aware to let anything get the best of her, and, though she isn't the best at combat, she'll fight tooth and nail if it comes down to it, preferring to die rather than be ashamed of herself.

[ Pre-Group ] Nergei was already alpha of his pack when the wanderer, Kaetii, was admitted into its ranks. She served as a brood for some time, though never bore any pups, and seemed to harbor no particularly useful skills. She did not hunt, and she was the last to eat because of it. One day, Kaetii found the opportunity to talk her way out of a particularly nasty situation, and it was then that she began to show her value as a diplomat. Using her looks and silver tongue to her advantage, Kaetii worked her way up the ranks of the pack by taking advantage of neighboring alphas, and letting her pack attack when their guard was down. They gained much territory through this, and Nergei eventually courted Kaetii as his mate. The two alphas littered two she-pups after some time, much to Nergei's dismay, but they were revered as princesses by the rest of the pack nonetheless. Nergei taught them to fight to the best of their ability, and Nanayi took some time to realize that she was better with agility and wit than strength alone. She and her sister trained solely under their father's wing for some time, until Kaetii found they were old enough to begin learning her own tools of the trade. Tashme was a bit too awkward to follow her mother's ways, and did not approve of them to begin with, but Nayi was a natural. Under Kaetii's guide, she became just as elegant and deceitful as the other she-wolf, and the two bonded this way, claiming more territory for their pack than they ever could have alone.

By the time she was maybe two years of age, Nayi's mother finally became pregnant with another litter, and it was to the alphas' delight that the nurses predicted that sons were in the womb this time. The pack celebrated briefly, and things soon returned to normal, though Nanayi was left to act on her deceit on her own, since her mother had to stay back. She returned from a successful courtship one evening to find a vast majority of her pack had been slaughtered by one they had double-crossed before. Among the bloodied masses was her slain mother, her stomach gouged, and Nergei was killed before her eyes. With Tashme nowhere to be found, and the rest of her pack run off anyway, Nayi took the opportunity she had to leave without being noticed.

She wandered for some time before settling in a cave tucked into a valley somewhere up north. Many wolves came and left her quarters, and there was many a passerby. She claimed no territory but her cave, and found prey to be plentiful enough. With no desire to join or start a pack, Nayi was, more or less, content living her solitary life, and found she would likely be subject to it until her death, until the day she met a massive brute who called himself Rutnik. He introduced himself very clumsily, happening upon her cave by chance, and the two conversed for some time before he invited her to join his pack- Fellfang. Intrigued by his weird words and mannerisms, and figuring what the hell, she agreed, and followed the orange wolf back south to his home.

Her sister, Tashme, is named after Tashmetum, a Mesopotamian goddess known as the "Lady of Hearing and Favor," while her father, Nergei, is named after the Mesopotamian god Nergal, known mostly for war and pestilence. Her mother is simply named Kaetii, a variant of Katie (winks), because naming her in a similar manner would be odd and likely imply shared bloodlines, which is gross.

- Nayi runs somewhere on the grey-ace spectrum of romance. She is capable of romantic love, but the occurrences are few and far between.

- Human AU!Nayi: (Age 25) 4'11" with long, curly brown hair. She’s very small and often uses clips to wear her bangs back, and her eyes are a striking grey-blue. She is very clearly African-American, though there are some Native American influences present upon closer inspection.
