Physical:
"Hazelmilk is a pretty, splotched she-cat with unusually curly fur and pale blue eyes. She is of average height, but her long, unruly fur makes her seem bulkier and bigger than she actually is. With belly-fur that almost touches the grund and a tail that sweeps the forest floor, Hazelmilk has given up on trying to remove all the plants and twigs that always happen to find their way into her pelt. She always looks distant and sleepy, though her facial expressions usually doesn't mirror her current state of mind, luckily."
Scars: She has a tiny scratch above her right eye where she hit her head on a sharp rock once, but it's not visible.

Personality:
+ || Reliable - Protective
- || Boring - Deadpan
X || Detached - Exhausted
Reliable - "Do you want to talk about it?"
Hazelmilk is a dependable individual as she's both truthful, honest, and surprisingly wise. If she has promised you something, she will always fulfill it no matter what. She can be a little blunt, however, to the point where some cats might even view her as ruthless. She will happily listen to your problems, lend you a shoulder to cry on, and try to cheer you up to the best of her abilities. Given the right circumstances, she might even offer you a bit of advice or open up about her own problems and experiences.
Protective - "If they ever call you such mean words ever again, I promise that I'll rip their teeth out, one by one."
This she-cat is far more protective and caring than she lets on. She can be a bit over-the-top sometimes as she often proposes to do most outrageous things to cheer up her friends, and it can be very hard to tell whether or not she's joking as she has a pretty morbid sense of humor. She's very devoted to her clanmates, friends, and family, and she would gladly protect those cats with her life. Her behavior towards her loved ones and her family is very reminiscent of that of a big-sister. Those who really get to know her will often tell you that she's "loving in her own way", which is very much true.
Boring - *stares blankly at the wall*
Many cats would consider Hazelmilk a rather boring or bland cat. She isn't capable of showing strong emotions and can't keep a conversation going. Her replies are often courtly and impersonal, and she often comes off as disinterested or indifferent. She isn't a very thoughtful cat either; she's very simpleminded and isn't really good at participating in discussions. She's also more of a passive person; she's almost never the one who starts a conversation, or the one to suggest something. She spends a lot of her time sleeping as well due to her current lack of energy.
Deadpan - "That sounds absolutely horrible ..."
Her face remains emotionless, always the same. Her expression is that of a blank sheet, never changing. There's nothing to grab on to. She is unreadable; no emotion can escape the pulsing black hole that is her inner consciousness ... No, seriously, that's how some cats view her. Though she might seem like an emotionless robot at times, she definitely experiences the same emotions as everybody else. Anger, disappointment, sadness. She just doesn't know how do show it properly, leading to it going unnoticed by even her closest friends and family. It doesn't help that her voice is very monotone as well, and that she isn't exactly the most attentive person either.
Detached - "Huh --?"
She often spaces out in the middle of a conversation, and always looks sleepy. She has a hard time focusing on the task at hand, and many of her clanmates wonder if she has some sort disability that makes her forget where she is and what she's doing. She's easily distracted as well, and the she-cat always looks as though she's not even present or in a trance of some sort, staring right through you even though she turned her head to look at you. It can be very unnerving and it's definitely a contributing factor to why other cats believe that she doesn't care about what's going on around her.
Exhausted - "... I'm sleeping. Just - just wait a few more minutes ..."
It's not really that she's lazy, per se, it's more that she's afraid of overworking herself. She gets overwhelmed easily, and can't keep track of multiple things at once. This she-cat has a burning need to satisfy and help all of her clanmates, and she never puts herself before others. She tires herself out quickly because of her illogical drive to push herself to her limits, and that's one of the reasons why she spends so much of her time sleeping; she works herself to the brink of collapsing and then sleeps the rest of the day away to regain some of her energy. It has proven to be very bad for her mental health, and she is currently trying to solve this problem and recover from it because of the damage it has caused to her psyche.

Love Life:
Sexual Orientation: Asexual
Romatic Orientation: Aromantic
Strengths & Weaknesses:
Strengths:
She's incredibly strong, though she may look harmless to the untrained eye. Usually, she would never even hurt a fly but if you manage to insult or hurt any of her friends, she can turn very nasty. She relies mostly on her intuition, as she isn't the brightest and definitely isn't a tactical genius. If a fight happens to break out, watch out for this she-cat. She will not hesitate to protect her loved ones, and it just so happens that she sometimes forgets how strong she actually is. Her long fur hides a muscly body and strong, powerful legs that could easily send a cat flying.
She likes to fight surrounded by trees and bushes, as it allows her to corner her target (she isn't very fast by no means).
Weaknesses:
She's made slow and clumsy due to her incredible strength, and she absolutely hates fighting someone who relies on speed and confusing tactics. It takes her a good amount of time to process her opponent's moves, and then react to them accordingly. Her combat-style is less effective on open ground such as planes or open meadows. Extremely closed spaces doesn't really fit this style either.
Heritage:
Bloodline: ValleyClan X Unknown (most likely ValleyClan)
Mother: Morningdew (NPC)
Father: Unknown
Siblings: Unnamed tom (deceased)
Kits: N/A
Other Relatives: Mossclaw (NPC, grandmother)
History:
Pre-birth:
It came as a surprise to everyone when Morningdew suddenly announced that she was expecting. She was already pretty old, and on top of that, she had no mate. The news spread like wildfire and many theories began to emerge. Maybe it was Morningdew's old mate who had impregnated her again? Maybe she had wanted to give birth to one last litter before her retirement, and the father had agreed not to reveal himself? Maybe a rogue was the father?
Morningdew never confirmed any of these rumors, though. She eventually gave birth to two kits, one of which was Hazelkit. But as mentioned before, she was old and one of the kits was worryingly skinny. Morningdew was very weak in the following days, and unfortunately, one of her kits passed away before she had the chance to name him. The she-cat was very saddened by this, and promised herself that she would do a better job protecting and raising her remaining child.
TL;DR:
- An old queen named Morningdew becomes pregnant
- No one knows who the father is
- Gives birth to two kits¨
- The smallest one dies
Kithood:
Hazelkit had a very happy and carefree childhood; her mother was attentive and loving and all of the older cats adored her. Morningdew spend all of her time telling Hazelkit stories and doing activities with her, and Hazelkit loved spending time with her, even though she claimed that she was too old to play certain games that the other kits played. She would often visit her grandmother in the Elders den too, as well as pestering the warriors just as any other kit would. The problem was her lack of friends. Yes, she didn't have any of those. Not that she minded it, of course, but her mother was seemingly very worried by that fact.
The other kits thought that she was weird and soon began calling her names and picking on her because she didn't express her emotions in the same way that they did. Her mother told her to just keep her head down and let all the insult slide right off her, and so she did, taking her mothers advice to heart. It honestly didn't bother her at all, and she kept telling her mother that she didn't mind it, but Morningdew would still ask her all the time if she needed her to talk to the kits and their mothers, or if Hazelkit was alright. Hazelkit would always reply by sending her a wide smile, and Morningdew would tell her how proud she was that her daughter had turned out to be such an optimistic and cheerful cat. But whenever Morningdew was out of earshot, her grandmother, Mossclaw, reminded her that it was also completely acceptable to give those bullies a good ol' whack on the head. Hazelkit, unfortunately, also took that to heart.
TL;DR:
- Hazelkit would spend most of her time with her mother and grandmother, Mossclaw
- She didn't have any friends
- The other kits would tease her because of her inability to express her emotions in a normal way
- Her mother told her to ignore it and just be optimistic
Apprenticeship:
The bullying didn't stop when she received her new name. No, it became worse. But Hazelpaw shrugged it off just as her mother had told her to, not letting it bother her. She was an apprentice now, and nothing could change how excited and how proud she was. Not even when they placed giant bugs in her nest, or called her mean names, or ruined her most valuable items just for fun.
She was assigned to Leafstorm, an honorable she-cat with a strong sense of duty. She would push Hazelpaw to her limits, urging her on as she worked twice as hard as any of the other apprentices. They never became all that close, but to this day Hazelmilk can still recite most of her encouraging catch-phrases. Time flew by quickly, and her bullies eventually gave up on trying to get a reaction out of her. The bullying may have stopped, but it didn't magically turn her into a more endearing cat, sadly, and she remained lonely and friend-less all the way throughout her apprentice days. She would spend a lot of time with her mother and grandmother, but a hard knot would still form in her chest every time she witnessed her denmates having fun together. The hard training also took its toll on her, and resulted in her tiring herself out much faster than her denmates and made her believe that her current workload was just barely seen as acceptable, even though in reality she was working much harder than many of the other cats her age.
She completed her training without any complications, but as the seasons changed, Hazelpaw began to grow more and more resentful towards her crammed timetable, though she believed it to be the same amount of work given to everyone else, clueless to the fact that she was working much, much harder than the other apprentices. When it was finally time for her to receive her warrior name, she was more than ready to accept her new position, hoping that it wouldn't be as challenging.
TL;DR:
- The teasing turned into bullying
- Still couldn't make any friends
- Hazelpaw's mentor was Leafstorm, an honorable she-cat
- Leafstorm was a very harsh and dedicated mentor
- Hazelpaw worked twice as hard as the other apprentices, though she thought it was the normal amount of work
- It made her believe that she had to work twice hard all the time, and that it was just what was expected of her
- Bullying stopped
Warriorhood:
Oh boy, had she been wrong about the amount of duties a warrior would be assigned. Hazelmilk spend her first moons as a warrior running around all day and loosing sleep. It was so deeply rooted in her that she had to work twice as hard as she really needed to that she took on way more than she could chew. The she-cat tried her best to satisfy and help her clanmates, but all she managed to do was overwork herself. Everyday she would collapse into her nest, telling herself that it was enough of a reward to see the cats around her happy, and then it didn't matter if she wasn't. She would tell her clanmates that she was fine, and put on a fake smile just as her mother had taught her to do, but this time it wasn't genuine. She gradually grew more and more frustrated and stressed, until one day, she broke down under the pressure in front of her mother. Morningdew quickly realized how big of a deal this was; never had she in her entire life seen her daughter this upset ... or even seen her upset at all.
Unbeknownst to Hazelmilk, Morningdew had a long talk with the leader of ValleyClan about her daughters daily tasks and current mental health, and they eventually agreed on shortening the list down significantly, at least until Hazelmilk had recovered emotionally. Her clanmates, who didn't know Hazelmilk as well as her mother did, though that such a tiny outburst wasn't a big deal, that she was just being lazy, and that she didn't deserve the special treatment.
Hazelmilk is still not ready to work as a full-time warrior yet, but she does her best and tries to help her clanmates as best as she can. She is often seen helping out the queens, elders, and the medicine cat with less tiring work, and she spends most of her time in the company of her mother and grandmother, building up energy and recovering from the stress and the exhaustion.
TL;DR:
- Hazelmilk continues to overwork herself
- She slowly becomes depressed and exhausted
- She overworks herself for several moons until she breaks down under the pressure
- Her mother talks to the leader
- She is given more free time to recover in
- She's currently trying her best to help her clanmates, resting, and recovering with the help of her mother and grandmother
