The result of having read far too many "Draco is a Veela" fanfictions, and having this insane desire to start one of my own. ((And I'm going to, darn it!))Harry: Umm.....Malfoy? What.....what was it you said you...you were?

A Veela is a species JK Rowling created. Basically, everyone is attracted to them, practically fawning over them. We've only seen females in her books - we have no idea if they *have* males.
Fanfic writers have decided that Veelas mate for life, are incredibly protective of their mate, and will stop at nothing to *get* their mate.
