Clemont, Chespin, Ash, Pikachu, Joe, Gomamon, Gollum, Tai, & Agumon went down a hallway, halfway there, Clemont began to worry about Bonnie, who went with Dedenne, Serena, Fennekin, Ruby, Zwei, Yang, Kari, Gatomon, Sora, Biyomon, Mimi, Palmon, & Sackboy. Ash tried to reassure his friend.
“She’ll be okay.”
“I don’t know. I should check on her.”
“How?”
“With this.”
He took out a radio device.
“I call it my ‘Check-On-Bonnie-Without-Her-Knowing-So-She-Doesn’t-Think-I’m-Overprotective-O-Tron!’”
Take a moment to soak in how STUPID that name is.
Gollum chimed in, “I’m scared to sees what it does.”
“It’s connected to a small radio I secretly sewed into Bonnie’s hairpiece, so I can make sure she’s alright.”
“Clemont.”
“Yes, Tai?”
“That’s despicable.”
Brushing this comment off, Clemont turned on his machine. They heard Serena & Bonnie talking.
“Come on, just talk to him.”
“I can’t.”
“Yes, you can!”
“No, I can’t! I can’t just walk up to Ash and say I have feelings for him!”
The boys stood with their jaws dropped. Then Ash said, “Oh my gosh.”
“Wait, did you hear that?”, Said Yang.
“Yeah, I did.”, said Bonnie, growing suspicious..
“It sounded like it was coming from your...hairpiece?!”, said Ruby.
They then heard Mimi’s voice say, “There’s something sewn into it.”
“Who would sew something into my hairpie-CLEMONT! I’M GONNA *CENSORED CENSORED CENSORED* KILL YOU!”
Clemont frantically turned off the machine, while Ash stood there, contemplating what he just heard.

Somehow reading that last part makes me think of how funny it would be if when they all become adults Bonnie becomes taller than Clemont and is, therefore, more capable to put him in his place.
