..I'm actually not too sure what to make of this shipping. (But this artwork is so amazing.)
Though I actually realized some random stuff the other day:
The name "Dirk" is close to the term "dick," which, unlike it's typical usage these days (what the heck society), is slang for "Detective."
And we know how much Jane loved those dapper swains and Problem Sleuth.
Plus, hats (fedoras) and fake mustaches would work well together as a disguise.
If this event was canon, I'd just, Hnnnnng.
